Early Life and Musical Roots

Horace Andy, born Horace Hinds in Kingston, Jamaica in 1951, is one of reggae’s most distinctive and enduring voices. Known for his haunting falsetto and spiritual depth, Andy has been a powerful presence in the reggae world since the late 1960s.
